ara shoes are created through a process that combines intensive hand-crafting with up to 130 individual operations. By owning all of our production facilities in 6 countries, we ensure that no corners are cut. Only the highest quality materials are used and our shoes are subject to independent testing and reporting on a regular basis. It goes without saying that production takes place at the highest technical level and conforms with all international environmental standards. Relentless German engineering and sophisticated European styling combine to produce our legendary fit and function. ara designs each shoe to cushion the foot's complex anatomical structure. Special features, such as a range of widths and flexible materials ensure that the shoe adapts to the foot, not the foot to the shoe. Specially developed ara functions such as shock absorption and superior breathability deliver unparalleled comfort and stress-free walking. ara shoes come in half sizes and multiple widths in order to provide a perfect fit.
